Welcome to Veda Diamonds (www.vedadiamonds.in). These Terms and Conditions govern your access to, browsing of, and interaction with our digital platform. By utilizing this platform, establishing a client profile, or initiating a collection inquiry, you signify your explicit agreement to these Terms and Conditions and our integrated Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, we kindly ask that you refrain from using our platform.

1. Digital Catalogue Status & Procurement Framework

  • Curated Showroom: This platform operates as an invitation to view our collections and initiate private design consultations. At present, this platform does not process automated, direct digital checkouts.

  • Acquisition Pathway: Clients may select creations of interest and add them to their digital portfolio/cart on the website, or contact our private consultants directly at +91 76666 11411 or via info@vedadiamonds.in to finalize commissions, secure bespoke details, and coordinate payment and delivery.

2. Definitions & Core Terminology

Throughout these Terms, the following definitions apply:

  • The House / The Company: Refers to Veda Diamonds.

  • The Platform / Website: Refers to www.vedadiamonds.in and any associated native mobile applications.

  • User / Guest: Any individual browsing the platform without holding a registered account.

  • Member: An individual who has established a registered client profile on our platform.

  • Jewellery: Refers to pre-designed or bespoke fine jewellery set with diamonds, precious gemstones, or crafted in precious metals, curated and displayed on our platform.

  • Loose Diamonds: Refers to individual, unmounted diamonds available for selection during custom commissions.

3. Client Verification & Statutory Compliance

  • Eligibility: You warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements under Indian law.

  • Account Authenticity: Members agree to provide entirely accurate and truthful information when establishing a profile. The House reserves the right to validate, suspend, or terminate accounts found to contain inaccurate or fraudulent data.

  • High-Value Transaction Verification: To ensure security and combat financial fraud, the House reserves the right to request government-approved photo identification—such as a Passport, Permanent Account Number (PAN) Card, or Driver’s License—to verify and audit an order before processing.

  • Statutory RBI Mandate: In strict compliance with regulatory mandates laid down by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), it is mandatory to provide a valid copy of your PAN Card for any purchase exceeding Rs. 2,00,000. The House is legally required to cancel any order that fails to meet this statutory requirement.

4. Pricing, Valuations & Right of Revocation

  • Fixed Valuation: Prices listed on our platform are fixed, non-negotiable, and subject to change without prior notice based on fluctuating precious metal and gemstone markets. Detailed valuation break-ups can be provided upon a Member's explicit request during private consultation.

  • Erroneous Listings: While we strive for flawless precision, in the event that a piece is inadvertently displayed with an incorrect price or specification due to a technical error, the House reserves the absolute right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for that item. Veda Diamonds is under no obligation to honor inaccurate or erroneous pricing, even if an initial order confirmation has been issued. If a payment has already been securely processed for a cancelled piece, the full amount will be promptly credited back to the client's original payment method.

5. Curational Disclaimers, Digital Renderings & Artificial Intelligence (AI)

  • Advanced Visualizations: To provide our patrons with the opportunity to view our fine jewellery in extraordinary detail, certain imagery, three-dimensional animations, and videos hosted across our platforms are generated using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) models, digital renderings, or advanced algorithmic and Artificial Intelligence (AI) visualization tools.

  • Refraction & Variance Disclaimers: These advanced digital assets are engineered to showcase hidden angles, intricate stone layouts, and fine faceting with maximum clarity. Clients acknowledge that while these illustrations are highly accurate representations, actual physical manifestations may experience minor variations in optical brilliance, stone depth, metal highlights, or finish texture when compared to a hyper-perfect digital asset or screen configuration.

  • Scale and Proportion: To showcase the meticulous internal details of our diamonds and gemstones, items may appear magnified in visual media. Technical dimensions, millimeter counts, and carat specifications provided during your private consultation remain the definitive measure of physical scale.

6. Anti-Comparison Purchasing Policy

  • Inventory Protection: To maintain the exclusivity of our creations and manage high-value logistics responsibly, Veda Diamonds does not permit "comparison purchasing." Comparison purchasing is the practice of reserving or acquiring multiple fine jewellery creations simultaneously with the preconceived intent of retaining only one and returning the remaining items.

  • Consultation Support: We invite clients who are undecided between specific cuts, stone scales, or settings to engage with our diamond experts for detailed advice, side-by-side asset reviews, or custom digital renderings prior to formal tracking and finalization.

7. Ethical Sourcing & Conflict-Free Diamonds

  • System of Warranties: Veda Diamonds takes immense pride in maintaining global ethical standards. The House explicitly guarantees that all loose diamonds and diamonds set within our fine jewellery collections are purchased from legitimate, verified sources entirely disconnected from funding conflict activities. All diamonds are sourced in strict compliance with the United Nations resolutions and the international Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS).

8. Custom Manufacturing & Material Variances

  • Bespoke Production Horizons: Following order finalization and payment verification, we begin the manufacturing process. Fine jewellery creation typically requires a lead time of 2 to 3 weeks.

  • Extended Timelines: For exceptionally intricate settings, rare gemstone sourcing, or high-complexity custom commissions, production may require 4 to 5 weeks. Our private consultants will keep the Member explicitly informed of their creation’s timeline and journey throughout this period.

9. Intellectual Property & Bespoke Design Rights

  • Proprietary Assets: All digital assets displayed on www.vedadiamonds.in—including jewelry blueprints, bespoke design aesthetics, brand marks, proprietary imagery, videography, text formatting, and trade dress—are the exclusive intellectual property of Veda Diamonds. Any unauthorized download, reverse-engineering, digital scraping, copying, or commercial distribution is strictly prohibited.

  • Bespoke IP Retention: In the course of private custom consultations, even where a client provides custom sketches, stylistic suggestions, or design parameters, the final multi-dimensional CAD layout, engineered designs, and overarching right to recreate or reproduce that design pattern remain the exclusive artistic and intellectual property of Veda Diamonds.

  • Third-Party Content Oversight: We maintain our showroom with the highest respect for creative property. If you believe any image or asset hosted on our platform inadvertently infringes upon external rights due to freelance content integration, please notify us immediately at info@vedadiamonds.in for swift remediation.

10. Financial Protocols & Foreign Exchange Variables

  • Accepted Methods: The House accepts secure bank wire transfers, accredited domestic and international credit/debit cards, and verified digital payment networks like Razor Pay. Orders are deemed confirmed only upon absolute financial clearance and audit verification.

  • Card Fraud Indemnity: The onus of ensuring card authenticity rests entirely with the Member. Veda Diamonds bears no liability for fraudulent card usage; the responsibility to prove otherwise remains exclusively with the client.

  • International Currency Conversion: All core valuations are anchored in Indian Rupees (INR). For international transactions, conversions into foreign currencies are processed by our payment gateway at the prevailing conversion rate.

  • Exchange Rate Fluctuation Disclaimer: In the event of an approved refund or order reversal for international clients, the House will credit the exact INR value originally received. Any variance in the final foreign currency amount received by the client due to currency conversion shifts, timeline delays, or bank processing fees is determined strictly by the client’s issuing bank and will not be borne by Veda Diamonds.

11. Promotional Curation & Promo Codes

  • Discretionary Use: Veda Diamonds may occasionally issue promotional codes for specific occasions or client milestones. The House reserves the right to honor, limit, or refuse the usage of any promo code at its absolute discretion.

  • Exclusivity: Promotional codes cannot be clubbed, combined, or stacked with any other concurrent privilege offers or seasonal pricing unless explicitly stated otherwise. Codes must be applied within their verified validity period and cannot be applied retroactively to finalized commissions.

12. Secure Logistics, Delivery & Verification

  • Identity-Verified Handover: To protect the high intrinsic value of your investment, our insured logistics partners will deliver the parcel exclusively to the recipient designated at the time of ordering. The recipient must cooperate by presenting valid government-approved photo identification upon delivery.

  • Address Finality: Shipping and recipient details can be modified by contacting our concierge team, but under no circumstances can any modifications be executed once the package has been securely dispatched from our facility. Any discrepancies or inconsistencies in the provided address that lead to non-delivery will result in the package being safely returned to our vault.

  • Logistical Overheads: All charges incurred due to failed delivery attempts on account of recipient unavailability, incorrect address details, or client-initiated re-shipment requests will be borne entirely by the client.

  • International Duties: For shipments dispatched outside of India, any regional local taxes, customs clearances, or import duties levied by the destination country are the exclusive responsibility of the client.

13. Gemological Reports & Mounted Appraisals

  • The Veda Diamonds Guarantee: Every single creation from our house is accompanied by an official Veda Diamonds Certificate of Authenticity. This document serves as our permanent guarantee, verifying the exceptional purity of the precious metals, the selection of our diamonds, and the rigorous craftsmanship standards of the house.

  • Independent Laboratory Certification: To provide absolute marketplace clarity for investment-grade stones, solitaire diamonds weighing 0.50 carats (50 cents) and above are accompanied by a grading report from premier independent global laboratories upon request, specifically the International Gemological Institute (IGI) or the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).

  • Bespoke Commission Requests: For custom, one-of-a-kind bespoke jewellery creations that fall outside the standard solitaire criteria, independent third-party certification from these leading laboratories can be seamlessly arranged upon a client's explicit request during the initial design consultation phase.

  • Statutory Hallmarking: In tandem with our gemological reports, every piece of gold jewellery leaving our atelier is strictly hallmarked by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), confirming its legal purity and precious metal fineness.

  • Mounted Setting Appraisals: Clients acknowledge that jewellery reports represent professional gemological opinions based on specialized equipment available at the time of evaluation. Because diamonds and gemstones lose a degree of laboratory accessibility once set into a permanent mounting, minor variances in depth, weight, or facet analysis may occur between loose and mounted settings.

14. Liability, Indemnification & Force Majeure

  • Client Indemnity: You agree to fully indemnify and hold harmless Veda Diamonds, its directors, craftspeople, and consultants against any claims, losses, liabilities, or legal fees resulting from your breach of these platform terms.

  • Limitation of Liability: Veda Diamonds shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages—including loss of data, business interruption, or peripheral hardware incompatibility—arising out of your navigation of this platform.

  • Force Majeure: The House is relieved of its delivery and manufacturing timelines in the event of circumstances entirely beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, extreme natural disasters, market disruptions, labor strikes, international transit embargoes, national regulatory shifts, or widespread technological infrastructure failures.

15. Refund Disbursements

  • Approved Cancellations: In instances where a cancellation is authorized due to product non-availability or design constraints, refunds are issued cleanly and securely:

    1. Credit/Debit Card Transactions: The approved amount will be reversed back to the original card channel, with the processing window dictated strictly by your card-issuing institution.

    2. Wire Transfers: Refund amounts will be securely deposited via bank wire directly into the Member’s authenticated bank account within 10 to 14 business days.

16. Governance & Legal Jurisdiction

  • Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by, interpreted, and enforced strictly in accordance with the Laws of India.

  • Exclusive Court Jurisdiction: Any dispute, legal proceeding, or suit arising out of or in connection with Veda Diamonds, its digital platform, or transactions initiated through it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Mumbai, India only.

  • Non-Waiver: Any failure by the House to enforce a specific right or provision within these Terms does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce that provision, or any other provision, in the future.
